Join Natalie Benway and Monica Basilefor this special Mother’s Day Mama Recharge workshop for mothers. Our theme will be honoring our creations. Natalie will begin with a light asana practice for all body types and experience levels, focusing on the hips and pelvis as a seat of creativity and healing. Monica will lead us in restorative Yoga Nidra, a sleep-based meditation practice. The workshop will end with tea, a light snack, and a discussion circle to share mutual support and recognition for the things we are creating and healing in our lives in this season of new growth.
Whether you are about to be a mother, are a mother of small children, or are an experienced mother of older children, we all have something to learn from each other. Embrace this opportunity to come back to yourself and recharge!

Abby Burns Instructor, Prenatal Yoga and Postnatal Yoga
Abby embarked on her yogic path while an undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin. Though she explored a variety of yoga styles, she eventually found a teacher that not only appealed to her interest in science, through the study of anatomy and physiology but also introducing her to a way of exploring spirituality that was inclusive and concerned with cultivating a quiet mind as a way of understanding the universal issues of life. Abby experiences continued joy and amazement in yoga's ability to bring healing to the body and peace to the mind.
_Betsy Rippentrop, PhD Betsy Rippentrop is a licensed psychologist, yoga teacher, and mother of 2 boys. She became interested in the psychology of birthing when she first "lived" in a pregnant body 6 years ago, and mindfully observed the changes in her mind, body, and spirit through this experience. She is passionate about helping mothers-to-be tap into the power of their minds as a tool for managing the stress, anxiety, and intensity of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. Hypnosis is a clinical tool she loves to teach mothers-to-be for a sense of control and mastery over the physical sensations and emotions that arise during birth. This tool proved indepensible to her during her own birth experiences as well as to the hundreds of pregnant women with which she has worked. Learn more about Betsy
